Amitabh Bachchan to receive Lata Deenanath Mangeshkar Purushkar

According to multiple reports, the veteran actor, Amitabh Bachchan, ace musician AR Rahman and actor Randeep Hooda will be receiving “Lata Deena Nath Mangeshkar Purushkar”. Big B, AR Rahman and Hooda are receiving this award for their immense contribution to the Entertainment and aMusic Industry.
The news regarding the same came across a press release from the Mangeshkar family who shares the names of awardees and the awards ceremony’s details. As per the Mangeshkar family, the award ceremony will be held on Wednesday, April 24 at the Deenanath Mangeshkar Natyagruha in Mumbai. The date has been decided in the wake of the commemoration of Deenanth Mangeshkar, a renowned personality known for his illustrious contribution to music and theater. “The Lata Deenanath Mangeshkar Puraskar” holds a significant meaning and a venerable reputation.
This award is distributed to those awardees who left an indelible mark on society with their talent this year, versatile actor, Hood, ace Indian actor Big B and renowned musician AR Rahman are nominated for this award. As we mentioned above, this award is given every year to an individual who has left an indelible mark and path-breaking contribution towards the nation, society and people. The honourable Prime Minister Narendra Modi was the first to receive this accolade followed by Asha Bhosle, the sister of Lata Mangeshkar in 2023. This year, Bachchan, Rahman and Hooda are receiving this prestigious award.
