To fight against COVID-19 most people took the vaccination dose but many claim to have faced side effects of it. To fight against COVID-19 most people took the vaccination dose but many face side effects of it. However, a Pharmaceutical company never openly accepted it and always denied the claims made on the vaccination. The case appeared in court and finally for the first time, AstraZeneca has accepted the claims made on them.

According to the reports, the Pharmaceutical giant has accepted that the Covid Vaccine formulated by the company “can in very rare cases, cause TTS.” Now, people have been getting curious to know what TTS is and what kind of health issues it is causing. The reports state that the admission was made in a legal document handover to the High Court earlier this year. However, The firm mentioned in the document that TTS can occur even if there is no vaccination, adding that expert testimony will be needed to determine in every single case.

The Pharmaceutical company has been facing a class action legal case that claims that the Covid vaccination formulated with the help of the University of Oxford has become the reason for human loss and serious injury. Many people claimed the loss of their loved ones because of the vaccine.  During the court hearing, some people faced a “devastating effect” of the vaccination. The first complaint against the British-Swedish multinational pharmaceutical and biotechnology firm was lodged by Jamie Scott. In 2023, the father of two stated that after taking the COVID vaccination he began developing a “blood clot and a bleed on his brain,” which caused a serious brain impairment. After facing serious health issues he started believing that the AstraZeneca Covid vaccine was responsible for his condition.

As per him, he received the vaccine in April 2021. His condition got worse, in fact, the hospital also informed his wife that the chances of his death were high. After that, he decided to complain to the company and since then AstraZeneca has been facing a lawsuit. In response to this complaint, AstraZeneca responded to the lawyers of Scott in May 2023 that “we do not accept that TTS is caused by the vaccine at a generic level.” Now, the question is what exactly is TTS (Thrombosis with Thrombocytopenia Syndrome) which takes the life of people?

Blood clots (thrombosis) and low platelet counts (thrombocytopenia) are two characteristics of a relatively rare disease called thrombosis with thrombocytopenia syndrome (TTS). This syndrome is also called VITT which stands for “vaccine-induced immune thrombotic thrombocytopenia.”

Blood flow in a blood vessel that is impacted by a blood clot may be decreased as a result of thrombosis. Thrombocytopenia happens at the time of low blood platelet count in the body. Usually, platelets help in the blood’s ability to clot to prevent excessive bleeding.
