Sidharth Malhotra starrer Yodha Movie was released on 15th March and has been doing relatively well at the box office. Till now the movie has been able to earn a total of INR 21.30 crores in India, which also includes its fifth-day box office collection of INR 2.30 crores nationwide. As per sources, the Yodha was made with a total budget of Rs. 55 crores. Counting along the overseas collection of INR 3 crore, the movie’s total collection is valued at INR 25.5 crore throughout the world.
Yodha movie is directed by debutants Sagar Ambre and Pushkar Ojha. It is produced under the banner of Dharma Productions, Amazon MGM Studios, and Mentor Disciple Enterainment with Hiroo Yash Johar, Karan Johar, and Apoorva Mehta being the joint producers. Amazon Prime has announced its ownership over this Sidharth Malhotra movie after it completes its tenure at the movie theatres.

As per the table mentioned above, the movie garnered an overall 11.40% of Hindi occupancy on Tuesday, March 19.
Along with Sidharth Malhotra, viewers can also see Raashii Khanna and Disha Patani in the lead roles. Malhotra earlier had collaborated with Dharma Productions for Shershaah which resulted in a blockbuster success, both nationally and internationally. The movie was a true story based on the life of Param Vir Chakra Vikram Batra, who got martyred during the Kargil War of 1999. Shershaah too, was made with a similar budget of INR 55 crore. Besides Sidharth, Raashii, and Disha in the lead roles, the film also stars Amit Singh Thakur, and Tanuj Virmani.
Yodha’s Story
The movie follows the story of commanding officer Arun Katyal (played by Sidharth Malhotra) who is out on a rescue operation. Backed with high-end action sequences, the plot unfolds and ultimately presents a question to the audience: is Arun a patriot or a traitor? The film has employed a huge number of aircrafts at different sequences, leading critics to argue about the credibility of such scenes where planes have been often represented as play toys.

Other Projects of Sidharth Malhotra
Prior to starring in Yodha, Malhotra was seen in Rohit Shetty’s action drama Indian Police Force, alongside eminent actors like Vivek Oberoi, Shilpa Shetty Kundra, and Shweta Tripathi. The series was based in the cop universe where Joint CP Vikram Bakshi (Vivek Oberoi) go to Delhi to investigate a series of bomb blasts, along with DCP Kabir Malik (Sidharth Malhotra). The series marked the OTT debut for Vivek Oberoi and Shilpa Shetty Kundra, while the second one for Sidharth Malhotra, being followed by Shershaah which marked his debut.
